One of the sweetest women I've ever known

Drostan's sweet grandmother Vella Orme passed away yesterday. She was such a fun, generous, kind, selfless, thoughtful, and feisty lady. She accepted me into the family immediately and I truly loved her like my own grandmother. She was so cute with the kids and loved having them around her and watching them. She was a very independent lady and up until only about 3 months ago, she lived alone and took care of herself and her home and yard at the amazing age of 90! We will miss her so much. What is wrong with my blog?

Anyone know why my side bar is showing up at the bottom? I haven't changed anything and all of a sudden, one day it started loading with the side bar down there. Weird. I tried making the main body px smaller but it didn't help. Any suggestions out there? Thanks.

ETA: I don't know how, but I guess I fixed it. Yay!

Busy, busy!

It has taken me all week but I am finally DONE! 

And this isn't including all the apricot syrup and jam I made a few weeks ago!

From left to right we have peaches, peach salsa, pear sauce, peach jam, and peach/berry jam

Next time I make peach salsa, I will buy a bigger pot!

Wheel of Fortune UPDATE!!!!

I just got a call from the people at Wheel and they said that the air date for my show has been changed. It is now going to be on TUES. OCT 14th, not on Wed the 15th. They didn't say why it changed but I thought I'd let everyone know so go and mark your calendars!

First day of school pics

I thought I had posted these here but I guess I hadn't. The boys started school about a month ago (year round) Kyle is in 2nd grade and Dallin is in Kindergarten.

And Megan started preschool this week. I told her to smile and she struck this pose. :-)

A little domestic for an evening

Drostan was up scouting in the mountains for his Elk hunt and came upon a TON of berries. He thought they were huckleberries but when he came home and googled a bit, he doesn't think so anymore. They look like tiny blueberries. I'm not sure exactly what they are but he told me he'd love a pie. I LOVE making pies so I was happy to oblige. This is what I came up with!
